New 6 kW fiber laser for fast and precise laser cutting
One of our largest investments is a Lincoln LINC CUT Fiber 3015D with a 6 kW fiber laser.
The new laser cutter gives us significantly greater capabilities for quickly and precisely manufacturing sheet metal parts with complex geometries. It is suitable for one-off custom parts, prototypes, and recurring production runs.
But above all, the fiber laser strengthens our workshop as a whole. When cutting can be combined directly with press braking, welding, machining, and assembly, we can take greater responsibility for the entire manufacturing process.
For the customer, this means a shorter path from design to finished product and better control throughout the entire production process.
New ADIRA press brake strengthens our sheet metal fabrication capabilities
We have also invested in an ADIRA PA 9025 press brake, along with new tools designed specifically for the machine.
The press brake provides us with additional capacity for precise bending and forming of sheet metal—from simple parts to more complex profiles and components.
The combination of laser cutting and press braking in the same workshop is particularly interesting. A part can be cut according to the customer’s drawing, bent, and then sent directly on to, for example, welding or assembly.
This makes it easier for us to deliver more complete sheet metal parts rather than just individual manufacturing steps.
Efficient Sheet Metal Cutting with the Scantool 2000-30SM
The new Scantool 2000-30SM sheet metal shears further strengthen our capabilities in sheet metal fabrication.
The machine is designed for efficient and repeatable sheet metal cutting, allowing us to quickly prepare materials for further processing in the workshop. The model has a working length of just over two meters and can handle sheet metal up to 3 mm thick.
Together with our other equipment, this enables a more efficient production flow from raw materials to finished parts.
New equipment for rolling and tube processing as well
The investment doesn't stop there.
Our machinery fleet has also been expanded to include a Scantool EBR 1270 rolling machine, which gives us greater capabilities for forming and rolling sheet metal for various types of structures and custom parts.
In addition, we have acquired a Scantool 150RB belt sander/pipe notcher for efficient processing and preparation of pipes for applications such as welding. The machine can be used for pipe notching as well as a standard belt sander, making it useful in several areas of manufacturing.
More can be done under one roof
These new investments are part of our ongoing commitment to being a full-service mechanical workshop in Uppsala.
With our expanded fleet of machinery, we are strengthening our capacity in:
Laser Cutting · Press Braking · Sheet Metal Cutting · Rolling · Tube Fabrication · Welding · Machining · Assembly
Being able to handle more steps in-house gives us better control over quality, fit, and delivery times—while also sparing our customers the hassle of coordinating with multiple suppliers.
Whether it involves a unique custom part, a prototype, sheet metal fabrication, or repeat production, we want to be able to take the project as far as the customer needs.
