Our Efforts Toward More Sustainable Metalworking
By focusing on long-term solutions, minimizing waste, and extending the service life of existing equipment, we actively contribute to a more sustainable and circular industry.
Long Service Life of Steel and Structures
When we build steel structures and machine components, we design them to withstand demanding industrial environments for many years. Getting it right from the start reduces the need for future maintenance and emergency repairs, which saves both materials and resources.
Service and Repair
A large part of our business involves servicing, maintaining, and modifying existing equipment. When a machine part breaks, we use our machining facilities to measure and manufacture a new replacement part, rather than discarding the entire machine.
Smart Material Handling
When we design and prepare materials in SolidWorks and in our sheet metal shop, we use modern calculation and nesting methods. This allows us to minimize material waste and make the most of our raw materials.
100% Metal Recycling in the Workshop
Any waste generated is carefully sorted. We work with local recycling companies in Uppsala to ensure that 100% of our metal waste is returned to the circular economy and melted down into new material.
Local production and shorter transport distances
We believe in the importance of maintaining a strong and capable local industry. By manufacturing, prefabricating, and assembling in-house in Uppsala, we reduce our customers’ need for long-distance transportation that has an environmental impact.
A safe workplace with a strong team spirit
We follow rigorous safety procedures in accordance with ISO 3834-2 and take a proactive approach to personal protective equipment, ergonomics, and ventilation to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees.
